Background

Amanda Halderman is Acting Chief Information Officer at SaskTel in Regina, Saskatchewan. She is accountable for enterprise IT service delivery, aligning information technology vision with business strategy. Passionate about leading technical teams, Amanda has extensive experience delivering operational and strategic technology initiatives.

With 25 years experience in the field of telecommunications, Amanda has worked in various leadership positions across SaskTel in Business Sales & Solutions, Technology, and Information Systems. She has held senior leadership roles as Director Core Network, Director Wireless Access & Technology Management, and Director Corporate Program Management Office.

Amanda has volunteered on various boards including Saskatchewan Polytechnic Computer Engineering Technology Program Advisory Committee, Regina Crime Stoppers, and Saskatchewan Science Centre Board of Directors. Amanda previously served in the Canadian Forces as a Primary Reserve Signals Officer. She is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for her community contributions.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Saskatchewan and is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
